Khabre.in uses necessary browser storage for privacy choices and recommendation preferences. It also uses self-hosted cookieless first-party traffic analytics, which does not use analytics cookies. Google Analytics and anonymous first-party recommendation engagement measurement are optional, off by default, and enabled only after analytics consent.

Necessary local storage

The privacy choice is stored in local storage under khabre_consent_v2. Khabre may also store on-device recommendation preferences such as followed topics, likes, recently viewed stories and reading affinity so the For You experience can adapt without requiring an account. These preferences remain in the browser and are not used for advertising.

Cookieless first-party traffic analytics

Khabre.in uses a self-hosted analytics service for aggregate visits and page views. The browser contacts same-origin Khabre.in analytics paths, and the service does not set analytics cookies.

Google Analytics 4

Khabre.in uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-NS2VE84D85. Google Consent Mode v2 is initialized before the Google tag.

The default consent state is denied for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. Selecting Accept analytics grants only analytics_storage. Selecting Necessary only leaves all four signals denied.

When analytics storage is granted, Google may use analytics cookies such as _ga and property-specific _ga_* cookies. Cookie names, purposes and lifetimes are controlled by Google and may change.

With storage denied, Google's advanced Consent Mode can still send limited cookieless measurement signals. Khabre.in does not intentionally enable optional analytics cookies while analytics_storage is denied.

Anonymous first-party engagement measurement

Selecting Accept analytics permits limited first-party events such as card views, article opens, reading-duration and completion ranges, likes, shares and swipe-away actions to be sent to Khabre's own server. These events use a temporary session identifier rather than an account or permanent user identifier and are aggregated to improve article recommendations. Raw events are retained for a limited operational period; aggregate article signals may be retained longer.

Affiliate links

Amazon affiliate links do not require Khabre.in to set an advertising cookie on this site merely to display the link. When a reader follows an affiliate link, Amazon's own systems, cookies and policies apply on the Amazon domain.
