ASUS says it received 26 honours at the Good Design Award 2026, including 21 wins in the ICT Equipment category. The company says this made it the most-awarded Taiwanese company at the awards and placed it first worldwide in that category. Two entries—the Oxiis Intelligent Bike Booster and Ceraluminum material—were also chosen for the judges’ “My Favorite Design” selection.

The awards span PCs and peripherals, video equipment, personal mobility and materials. ASUS says winning products may carry the award’s G Mark symbol.

Awards across devices and materials

The company’s list includes consumer and business laptops, gaming and creator devices, desktops, workstations, monitors and accessories. Examples include the ROG Zephyrus DUO, ASUS Zenbook A16, ProArt GoPro Edition notebook and ProArt Mouse MD301. The video equipment category includes ROG XREAL R1 Glasses, ROG Swift RGB OLED monitors and the ZenScreen OLED MQ16FC portable monitor.

One award went to the Oxiis Intelligent Bike Booster, which ASUS describes as a universal friction-drive motor system intended to turn a conventional bicycle into a smart e-bike. Another went to Ceraluminum, a material used on the exteriors of the Zenbook S 14 and Zenbook S 16. ASUS describes it as a high-tech ceramic material designed to combine aluminum-like lightness and durability with ceramic-like scratch resistance.

The Oxiis system and Ceraluminum were among entries selected for the Good Design Award Judge’s Selection – My Favorite Design 2026, a separate distinction for designs that particularly impressed the judges, according to ASUS.

Award programme and exhibition

The Good Design Award is organised by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. The programme, established in 1957, is in its 69th year in 2026; ASUS describes its selection process as a multifaceted evaluation by expert judges of thousands of entries from around the world.

ASUS says the winning entries will be exhibited from October 31 to November 13 at Good Design Marunouchi, Shin Kokusai Building, 1st Floor, 4-1 Marunouchi 3-chome, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The award recognises design across a broad set of product categories; the announcement does not describe it as a measure of device performance.
