Zenbook DUO combines two OLED screens in one laptop
ASUS says the Zenbook DUO received its Bronze Award for its approach to dual-screen productivity. The laptop integrates two 14-inch 3K OLED displays, each with a 144Hz refresh rate, with a 7.66mm gap between the screens. A precision hinge is used to create visual continuity across the dual-screen layout.
The design also includes a detachable Bluetooth keyboard, an integrated kickstand and what ASUS calls “invisible connectivity” between the keyboard and the laptop. The keyboard has a low-friction surface and retractable charging. ASUS's Ceraluminum material is used in the laptop's construction, with the company describing it as providing structural integrity as well as a distinctive appearance.
The Zenbook DUO can be used in a vertical dual-screen mode intended to support different working positions. ASUS ScreenXpert software adds gestures and other controls for managing the two displays. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor.
Together, these elements make the second display part of the laptop's physical design rather than an external monitor added to a conventional notebook. That matters for mobile workflows involving multiple applications, although the release does not provide independent testing of performance, battery life or ergonomics.
Three ASUS products named IDEA finalists

The ROG Zephyrus Duo (2026) gaming laptop was recognised as a finalist for its dual-monitor layout and five usage modes. ASUS positions it for gaming, editing and AI-related tasks, with a detachable keyboard and a consolidated workspace intended to provide flexibility when working away from a desk.
The ROG XBOX Ally series of gaming handhelds was also shortlisted. ASUS highlights the products' ergonomic design, optimised weight and controls, along with a streamlined operating system and resource allocation intended to support desktop-class PC gaming in a portable format.
