BMW M Motorsport reported an overall victory for Schubert Motorsport’s BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the latest two-race Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) weekend. Jens Klingmann, Ugo de Wilde and Jordan Pepper won Saturday’s race in car #77, giving Schubert its second overall NLS victory of the 2026 season.

The manufacturer also reported that FK Performance Motorsport moved into the lead of the ADAC GT Masters standings with the BMW M4 GT3 EVO and remained in contention for the ADAC GT4 Germany title with the BMW M4 GT4 EVO.

Schubert wins on the Nordschleife

The NLS double-header comprised rounds eight and nine of the 2026 season at Germany’s Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The Nordschleife is a long, technically demanding circuit where endurance teams must manage traffic, tyres, weather and race-control procedures over the course of a race. GT3 and GT4 refer to separate classes of production-based racing cars competing under different technical regulations.

Schubert’s #77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO was the overall winner on Saturday. The result was also the first overall NLS victory for 20-year-old BMW M works driver Ugo de Wilde, who is competing in his first season with the GT3 car on the circuit. BMW’s account says de Wilde had built experience in high-speed corners, traffic management, tyre management and Code 60 and Code 120 race-control periods during the season.

The same car’s Sunday race ended early after light contact with the barriers. De Wilde attributed the incident to changing wet conditions while using slick tyres. Gamota Racing nevertheless gave the BMW M4 GT3 EVO a podium finish in the SP9 Pro-Am class, taking third place with its #23 car.

BMW M Motorsport teams recorded 10 class wins across the double-header in addition to Schubert’s overall victory. AV Racing by Black Falcon won Saturday’s SP10 class with its #177 BMW M4 GT4 EVO and finished second on Sunday. Plusline Motorsport’s #155 BMW M4 GT4 EVO took third in the same category on Sunday.

FK Performance strengthens two title campaigns

At the penultimate ADAC GT Masters round at the Salzburgring from 4 to 6 September, each of the two endurance races included two mandatory pit stops, refuelling and a tyre change. Leyton Fourie and Tim Zimmermann won Saturday’s race in FK Performance Motorsport’s #11 BMW M4 GT3 EVO and finished fourth on Sunday. The results moved the pair into the championship lead ahead of the season finale at Hockenheim in October.

FK Performance also delivered a significant result in the penultimate ADAC GT4 Germany round at the Sachsenring. Gabriele Piana and Benjamin Sylvestersson won Saturday’s race from pole position in the #51 BMW M4 GT4 EVO. They reduced their deficit in the overall standings to five points before the finale.

Their team-mates Luca Link and Luis Moser finished fifth in the #49 car, helping FK Performance move to second in the team standings, 13 points behind the leader. Sunday’s race was not held because of damaged kerbs and rain. ADAC was examining whether that race would be rescheduled at the Hockenheimring.

More BMW customer-racing results

Michael Schrey won the seventh BMW M2 Cup race of the season at the Sachsenring in the #2 BMW M2 Racing, extending his run to seven victories in seven races. Christopher Holst ended that sequence in the rain-affected Sunday race by taking his first victory in the series.

At Brno, BMW-powered entries recorded four GT Cup Series victories across sprint and endurance categories. BMW M4 GT3 EVO cars also finished third in the GT3 Pro class and second in GT3 Am at the three-hour Italian GT Endurance Series race at Imola.

In the GT4 Italy Series, Giacomo Maman and Gustavo Sandrucci secured both the overall championship and the GT4PA title with two races remaining. They had taken a win and a second place at Imola in the #16 BMW M4 GT4 EVO. Century Motorsport added two second-place finishes in the British GT Championship’s overall GT4 and GT4 Silver classifications at Donington Park.
