Mahindra & Mahindra reported sales of 114,874 vehicles in September 2026, including exports, a 15% increase year on year. Domestic utility-vehicle sales reached 64,092, up 14%, according to the company’s 1 October release. Mahindra also said billing for its Electric Origin SUVs had crossed 1 lakh since launch.

How the September total breaks down

The domestic figures included 30,420 commercial vehicles, up 14% from September 2025. Within that total, sales of light commercial vehicles below 2 tonnes were 4,044, up 19%; sales in the 2-to-3.5-tonne category were 26,376, up 13%.

Sales of three-wheelers, including electric three-wheelers, reached 16,343, a 26% increase. Exports were 4,019, down 7% from a year earlier. Mahindra’s release defines total vehicle sales as including SUVs, light commercial vehicles below 3.5 tonnes, three-wheelers and export volumes.

Electric Origin SUV billing milestone

Mahindra said it had crossed 1 lakh in billing of its Electric Origin SUVs since launch. The company presented this as a cumulative milestone alongside its monthly sales figures; the release does not break out the milestone by model or provide a separate September billing total for those SUVs.
