Mercedes-Benz says it will present six model premieres at the Paris Motor Show, including the all-electric VLE. The show runs from 12 to 18 October 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. The company’s announcement, dated 29 September, places the event within its 140th-anniversary year and its stated largest-ever product offensive.

Six premieres across the lineup

The models Mercedes-Benz names as premieres are the new GLA, Mercedes-AMG CLA 45, GLE, Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, all-electric VLE and new S-Class. The company says they span its Core, Luxury and Performance segments as well as its electric vehicles.

The stand will also feature the CLA Shooting Brake, the new electric C-Class, the new electric GLC and the A-Class Edition 140. The lineup therefore combines vehicles the company describes as new or electrified across several model segments, rather than focusing the Paris presentation on a single vehicle or technology.

Mercedes-Benz has scheduled its press conference for 14:45 CEST on 12 October in Hall 5.2. The announcement describes the show as a highlight of the anniversary year, which marks 140 years since Carl Benz filed a patent for an automobile in 1886.

What Mercedes-Benz says about the electric VLE

The VLE is the most prominent electric model in the announcement. Mercedes-Benz Vans marketing and sales head Mathias Vaitl says it will accommodate up to eight passengers and offer a range of more than 700 km. The company presents it as an electric people carrier intended for uses including family travel, business journeys and premium shuttle services.

The range figure is tied to the WLTP test procedure. Mercedes-Benz notes that real-world range can vary with factors including driving style, conditions, battery ageing, climate-control use, equipment, tyres, load and route. WLTP is a standardised vehicle-testing procedure; a published test figure is not a guarantee of the distance a particular vehicle will cover in everyday use.

The release offers no detailed VLE technical specifications beyond the seating and range claims. Its significance in the Paris lineup is the company’s stated effort to combine electric mobility with the passenger capacity and flexibility of an MPV, alongside new electric C-Class and GLC models.
