Summary
NVIDIA says RTX Spark laptops are available globally from $2,599. The Windows systems combine Blackwell graphics and a Grace CPU, with up to 128GB of unified memory for local AI, creative work and gaming.
NVIDIA announced on October 16, 2026, that RTX Spark laptops are available globally from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI. The company says the Windows systems combine RTX graphics and its AI software platform in portable PCs for local AI, creative work and gaming. Prices start at $2,599, with configurations varying by region.
A shared-memory system for AI and graphics
RTX Spark is built around a single superchip combining an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU and a Grace CPU. NVIDIA specifies up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance. MediaTek collaborated with NVIDIA on the custom CPU design.
Unified memory is a shared pool available to both the CPU and GPU, rather than separate pools dedicated to each processor. NVIDIA says this lets demanding creative projects and local AI models run on the same system. The “up to” figures describe the platform’s stated maximums, not necessarily every laptop configuration.
FP4 refers to four-bit floating-point numbers, a compact numerical format used in AI calculations. Its low bit width can support high-throughput computation, though model behaviour depends on how software uses that format. NVIDIA presents the system as a way to run AI models and agents locally alongside everyday Windows applications.
Local agents, creative apps and launch availability
NVIDIA says users can set up agents including GitHub Copilot, Hermes, OpenClaw, Perplexity, Pi and WorkBuddy through guided setup and installers. It also describes OpenShell and Microsoft Execution Containers as tools for controlling agent permissions. Compatible agents can use NVIDIA tools such as Broadcast and Omniverse libraries. The company says RTX Spark can also serve AI inference to compatible Windows, Linux and macOS computers on a home network through NVIDIA PAIR.
For creative work, NVIDIA says RTX Spark can edit 8K 4:2:2 video and render 3D scenes of up to 90GB. Adobe is adding TensorRT acceleration to AI-editing features in Photoshop, Premiere and Substance 3D. Native RTX Spark support for Photoshop and Premiere is available through beta releases, while Substance support is described as coming soon.
The launch lineup includes the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and OmniBook X 14, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+ and Prestige N16. NVIDIA also lists support for games including Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Gears of War: E-Day, Marvel Rivals, World of Warcraft and NBA 2K27, alongside its DLSS, ray-tracing, G-SYNC and Reflex technologies.
