Summary

Samsung says Galaxy AI features are gaining Hungarian and Malay, Now Nudge is adding eight languages, and Bixby is adding Polish, Thai and Vietnamese.

Samsung is expanding language support across Galaxy AI and Bixby. The company says Hungarian and Malay are being added to several Galaxy AI tools, while Bixby is gaining Polish, Thai and Vietnamese. Bixby’s new languages begin rolling out on October 14, 2026; the new Galaxy AI languages are scheduled to follow in the coming weeks.

Which features are gaining languages

Hungarian and Malay are being added to Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter and Transcript Assist. These tools include functions for translating, transcribing and summarising; Samsung says features such as Live Translate will then support 24 languages.

Now Nudge, which suggests a relevant next step based on what is on screen, is also expanding to 24 languages. Its eight additions are Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish.

Bixby’s additions bring its supported total to 12 languages. Samsung describes Bixby as a device-control agent that responds to natural-language requests, so users can ask for settings without needing to know their exact names or where they appear in menus.

Some new Galaxy AI languages can be downloaded as language packs through the Settings app. Samsung says schedules and feature availability may vary by device and country. Bixby requires a Samsung Account and a data connection, and recognition can vary with pronunciation and surrounding conditions.

Languages listed for India

Samsung’s Galaxy AI list includes Hindi and Gujarati, as well as English for India. Bixby’s supported-language list includes English for India. The announcement says availability can vary by country and device, so these language listings do not by themselves specify the rollout schedule for each feature in India.
