Samsung has launched the Galaxy Z Flip8 in India, with official pricing starting at ₹124,999.
The phone was unveiled as part of Samsung's eighth-generation Galaxy Z lineup in July 2026 and moved from pre-order to commercial availability in August.

Samsung also advertised upgrade offers, cashback and no-cost EMI options at launch. Those incentives are conditional promotions and should not be treated as the standard retail price.
Where the Flip8 fits
The Galaxy Z Flip8 is Samsung's compact clamshell foldable, positioned differently from the larger book-style Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra.
Samsung describes it as its slimmest Flip device and emphasizes quick interactions through the outer FlexWindow as well as the ability to use the folding form factor for photography and everyday tasks.
Launch and availability
Samsung opened Indian pre-orders on 22 July 2026.
The company subsequently announced early deliveries to pre-booked customers in India in early August and officially launched the new Galaxy Z lineup commercially on 7 August.
Why the price needs context
Foldable launch pricing should be read separately from bank cashback, exchange bonuses and long-tenure financing offers.
For the Flip8, ₹124,999 is the manufacturer's listed starting price for the 256 GB configuration. Promotional effective prices can be lower, but only when the buyer satisfies the relevant conditions.
What the official sources establish
Samsung's materials establish the India pricing, storage configurations, launch timing and product positioning. Claims about durability, battery endurance, camera quality and day-to-day usability still require independent testing.
