Samsung India has launched its 2026 Bespoke AI appliance range, introducing a Family Hub refrigerator with AI Vision built with Google Gemini, a Bespoke AI WindFree Pro air conditioner and an Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree cooling. The company presented the products at its Brief Gurugram event on 16 September 2026.
Samsung describes the lineup as an interconnected home-appliance ecosystem rather than a collection of standalone products. Selected devices combine the company’s AI Home screen, Bixby voice assistant, Knox security and SmartThings connectivity to manage appliances, automate routines and provide energy-related controls.
What Samsung’s 2026 range includes
The new products and their headline features are:
- Family Hub Refrigerator with AI Vision: The 32-inch Family Hub is designed to act as a household information and entertainment screen, with support for notes, schedules and entertainment. Samsung says its AI Vision and AI Food Manager can recognise food items, suggest recipes and help track use-by dates. Video-to-Recipe, Family Care, Pet Care and the personalised Now Brief are among the listed features. The AI Vision system is built with Google Gemini.
- Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner: This platform adds AI-enabled controls and PM1.0 purification, along with SmartThings connectivity and Home Appliance Remote Management for broader climate-management functions. Samsung also highlights AI Energy Mode, which it says supports efficient, low-noise cooling.
- Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC with WindFree: The cassette air conditioner is offered in 3.6 kW, 5.2 kW and 7.1 kW cooling capacities. Its WindFree system distributes cooling through 17,200 micro-holes, while the unit has an ultra-slim 13.8 cm depth, nine Edge Lighting modes and an ASA construction. The product also includes SmartThings control, AI Comfort Mode and an Intertek-certified antibacterial copper filter.
The Infinite 1-Way Cassette AC launches at a starting price of INR 160,000 through authorised channel partners nationwide. Samsung lists the Family Hub at INR 400,690 and the Bespoke AI WindFree Pro Air Conditioner at INR 69,990.
How the connected-home system works
The AI Home screen, built into select devices, is intended to provide a common interface for viewing appliance status, controlling connected products, receiving real-time information and supporting family communication. SmartThings extends those controls across the home, including functions such as Energy Saving, Power Cool and Power Freeze on the Top Mount Refrigerator, and monitoring for closets and pantries.
Samsung’s upgraded Bixby assistant adds Voice ID, which recognises individual users and applies personalised settings. The company also says SmartThings Family Care can send alerts when unusual situations occur, such as inactivity at a scheduled time. Its Pet Care service is designed to track activity, provide breed-based health insights and issue reminders for walks and other care routines.
The ecosystem also links appliances with other Samsung services. A Wearable Good Sleep feature uses Galaxy Wearables to adjust compatible air-conditioner settings based on individual sleep patterns. In the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, AI Wash & Dry detects fabric types and adjusts the wash and drying cycle; a dedicated Pet Care Wash Cycle is intended for pet accessories.
Samsung says the appliance range will receive software updates through SmartThings for seven years. Knox security is described as providing multi-layered protection across devices, while SmartThings Home Care and Home Appliance Remote Management are intended to support appliance monitoring and service.
The practical significance of the launch is Samsung’s attempt to make the appliance ecosystem itself the product: refrigerators, air conditioners, laundry equipment and connected services are designed to share controls, household information and automation features. The usefulness of that approach will depend on compatible Samsung devices, SmartThings setup and the availability of individual functions on each model.
