Microsoft plans multi-gigawatt Azure Maia deployments from 2027
Microsoft says its Maia AI accelerator system will expand to multi-gigawatt deployments from 2027, with Maia 300 scheduled to begin production deployments that year. The company expects Maia 300 to improve AI inference efficiency and rack-scale throughput.
