Google and Terradot Pair Rice-Farm Methane Cuts With Carbon Removal in Brazil
Google and Terradot have agreed to combine methane-reducing irrigation with enhanced rock weathering across more than 200,000 hectares of Brazilian rice farms. Google says the project targets 1 million metric tons of methane-related CO2e impact by 2030 and 1 million metric tons of permanent carbon removal by 2040.
