AMD, IBM and Oak Ridge Set Up a Quantum-HPC Codesign Platform

AMD, IBM and Oak Ridge National Laboratory have established a shared platform to study how quantum processors and classical computing systems can work together. Its first deployment colocates IBM quantum computers, including the 120-qubit IBM Quantum Nighthawk, with ORNL’s Umbra supercomputer.

NVIDIA Reports 104-Qubit Quantum Simulation on JUPITER

NVIDIA says researchers used JUPITER, Europe’s first exascale supercomputer, to run a 104-qubit simulation of magic-state cultivation under realistic hardware noise. The work models a quantum processor; it is not a 104-qubit quantum machine.
