Mouse study links reduced bone glycolysis to age-related bone loss
A bioRxiv preprint reports that age-related bone loss in mice coincided with impaired glycolysis in bone tissue. Caloric restriction and osteoblast-specific genetic interventions that enhanced glycolysis improved bone outcomes in the mice.
