A fly-brain model maps a circuit for separating figures from background motion
A bioRxiv preprint uses Drosophila connectomics data and biophysical modeling to explain how visual neurons may distinguish a moving figure from whole-field background motion. The model centres on interactions between T4a motion neurons and vCH cells.
